I'm Tried Already

I've only been at it for roughly a month and I'm already tried. But this ain't the time to give up! This is actually the prime time to try and get things done.

....But I have so much that I want to do and I just have a hard time prioritizing what I need to do first. Which inevitably leads me to spending more time on stuff like sims, and less time on stuff like cleaning the house. And then I get overwhelmed and shut down and then the problem still persists, and it's clear that I need to do better.

In other news, I found a social media app similar to Tiktok, but you don't need 1000 followers to go live. You can just go live and I love that! Going live on instagram is okay, but it's not as chaotic as the chat roulette style of Tiktok. I want rando strangers to find me, not my friends.

Also, can we talk about how Instagram and Facebook went down randomly last week? I lost my whole mind for a good hour or so. I was deadass mentally planning contingency plans for where to post my content(flickr, tumblr, blog). Because yeah, that could always happen. You don't own your social media account. At any given point in time, the folks at Meta could just say "fuck it" and delete everything. And they have the right to do so. It's their website. Having a blog is a lot more stable TBH AND you can virtually post whatever the hell you want without worrying about censors or being shadow banned. Now, obviously if you're posting malicious, dark web content, no matter what you do, the internet will 86 that really quick!

There are some fundamental rules of the land, but these social media apps are nit picky about it and sometimes it's not fair. Like, for instance, someone will be flagged for using a simple hashtag while other post content that goes against TOS and they're unaffected. It's wack!

Also also, ngl I lowkey stopped playing with AI because it's lookin too real now and at least for me the novelty wore off. I like that it's here, I like that I know how to use it, but for me it was starting to feel real Sims like, and I already play so let's not.
