Life...

I can feel a change happening. Lots of parts moving around. I feel like I'm right at the cusp of achieving greatness!

I think I know what I want to do with my life. And it's not work dead end job after dead end job. I've accepted the fact that having a regular job is just not for me. I've worked in many different fields, and it all ends the same. I'm tired of floating from one job to the next.

I also want to do something more....fulfilling.

Most jobs that people work don't really go anywhere. A lot of them feel like they're just using you as a body. Also for me personally, I feel like I need to do something more creative with my time. I have so much creative energy and it doesn't get utilized at my day job. Hence why I'm on the search for something more.

Considered trying that online Coursera thing. I don't think I will follow through with it because I'm already thinking ahead into the future and what I don't want is go spend all that money and time just be right back at square one ultimately. Like, yeah you're a Social Media Manager, but it's still some corporate dingo's Social Media that you're managing. Still have to be censored. Still have to be a certain way. And that's the part I'm fed up with! Just let me do my own thing!

So now what I think I'm gonna do is hanker down and actually go all in on the youtube/tiktok thing. If I do that on top of my online store, I should be alright. I'm still shy and awkward about making videos, but I have to get over it and try! I've considered all my options for a mode of income, and this is the only option that aligns with how I want to live my life.

Update: So my boss is talking about "Doing more to get a promotion". exasperated sigh. I already don't halfway wanna be here. And honestly, the way my role is setup, what exactly is the next move? There are no positions above mine. Any kind of "promotion" will be to a job that I didn't sign up for #NoThanks. I know it's not anything creative, so I'm really not that interested. And no, I don't want to write a blog for the company. I like my freedom of speech!
